At Elevation Counseling, I value transparency and want you to feel confident and informed about the counseling process. The following outlines important policies, disclaimers, and information about services provided.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Information shared in counseling sessions is considered private and confidential. Your records and conversations will not be released without your written consent, except in the following circumstances required by law:

  • If there is reason to believe you are at risk of harming yourself or others

  • If there is suspected child, elder, or dependent adult abuse or neglect

  • If records are subpoenaed by a court of law

Telehealth sessions are conducted using secure, encrypted platforms. While every effort is made to protect your privacy, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Clients are encouraged to use a private space and a secure internet connection during sessions.

Disclaimer of Services & Emergencies

Counseling services at Elevation Counseling are designed to support mental health, personal growth, and emotional well-being. These services are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency treatment.

If you are in crisis or experiencing a life-threatening emergency, do not use this website. Please:

Fees & Payment Policy

  • Individual sessions: $125 per 50 minutes, with a sliding scale based on household income

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Elevation Counseling does not bill insurance directly. Clients may request a superbill for potential reimbursement from their insurance provider, though reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without prior communication, may be charged the full session fee.

This policy helps ensure consistent scheduling and availability for all clients.

Telehealth Services

Elevation Counseling provides sessions via secure telehealth platforms for residents of Maine. Clients must be physically located in Maine at the time of their session, as required by licensing regulations.

In the event of a technical issue, sessions may be rescheduled or continued by phone if appropriate. Clients are asked to provide a backup method of contact (such as a phone number) prior to telehealth sessions.

Licensing Information

Savannah Cole, LCPC-c (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor – Conditional), is licensed in the state of Maine under the supervision requirements of the Maine Board of Counseling Professionals. Services are offered only to clients physically located within the state of Maine at the time of the session.
